End of Hurricane Season 2011

Hi everybody! Today marks the end of the Atlantic Hurricane Season! Fortunately it was a mostly uneventful year with the exception of Irene that plowed up the east coast into New England causing mostly a flood event from the Carolinas north. The system left many without power and fortunately the upper level winds remained hostile enough to keep the system in check. Hurricane season again begins on June 1, 2012.
