Hi everybody. We are carefully watching Invest 92 which is midway between Africa and the Lesser Antilles. Recon aircraft investigated the area today and did not find a closed circulation. An aircraft is scheduled to investigate the area again tomorrow. A tropical depression could form at any time. The models are somewhat mixed but several have the system coming to Bhamas so it must be watched very carefully! Several models are also showing a movement out to sea well to our east. Shower activity is currently scattered. The system will be approaching barbados later tonight. Another area is located just off the African Coast and thgis system is also being watched for development. As I said earlier, we are in for an active couple of weeks….hold on to your hatsas we approach the beginning of the peak season.
